The Product Spec Can Be the Prototype
A strong AI product surface does not stop at summarizing a spec. It turns the spec into an editable artifact where the team can test the idea in place.
The strongest July 1 signal was Notion adding interactive HTML blocks that agents can generate directly inside docs. Digg framed the practical upside clearly: agent-built widgets, calculators, quizzes, and prototypes now live where the team is already planning and reviewing the work. The important shift is not “AI in docs.” It is the doc becoming a lightweight execution surface.
Product builders lose time every time intent has to jump from doc to Figma to code to demo before anyone can react to it. When agents can turn a spec into a working artifact in the same workspace, teams can inspect behavior earlier, catch misunderstandings faster, and tighten the loop between planning and validation.
Pick one planning artifact that regularly stalls in handoff and make it executable. Trigger: PRD, launch memo, onboarding doc, ROI sheet, or support playbook. Context: source text, constraints, real input examples, and the decision the team needs to make. Tools: doc agent, HTML or code generation, and a shared review surface. Verifier: teammates can interact with the output and point to what is wrong or promising. Budget: one narrow workflow, no hidden backend dependencies, and clear fallback to static content. Artifacts: the live block, source prompt, sample inputs, and follow-up edits. Stop condition: the artifact changes the discussion from “what do you mean?” to “does this behavior work?”
Take one spec this week and ask an agent to turn the riskiest assumption into an interactive artifact. If the team still has to imagine the behavior, the loop is too abstract.

Knowledge only counts when it changes the build.
